My translation of The Ring of the Nibelung
This was a monumental project for me, and the decision to stick it up on a web page for anyone to steal was not a light one. I think there's a place for a modern English translation of this masterpiece, and I hope it brings some benefit to those who want to study it in a somewhat different light than can be gained from other translations.
I feel strongly that the Internet exists for the free exchange of information between individuals, and is the first step toward a system where people don't corner and monopolize intellectual niches for personal gain.
Please don't steal this, or claim any of it for your own. Just quote the source. It took me nearly three years
of off-and-on work to get this to the point that it is. I don't want to make any money off the work, but if I find
out that you're trying to, I'll rip your heart out.
